Havent updated for a while.

Fajsty has a new friend, a little Jack Russel by the name of Muffin/s/ but we call her Muff. She has limitless energy and can play with a bone on her own for an hour. She wakes her family up at 5-6 AM because then its time for the morning walk.

She gets at least 2 big walks a day, not too much mental exercises but she doesnt seem to be too bright so best to start slowly.

We have walked one eveningwalk and one morningwalk togeter, both 90 minutes long. Fajsty was exhausted after the long morningwalk, he's not used to that...


Have a new cat, a black one. Can post pics of him too.
He needs to eat alot. He's very thin and slightly dehydrated so it's important he drinks. . .

Sticks and Meatballs

I'm so proud and happy about the Fajsty-dog today...

After the morning walk I was pretty annoyed, he was pulling like an idiot OR standing still, claws dug into the ground, sniffing something. Not fun.

But, that all changed on the afternoon walk, I was initially going to take him somewhere to run, but I ran out of time, so I took him to the field and let him off the lead, armed with 2 sticks and meatballs.

First we ran around the trees like idiots to burn out the most extreme energy. Then I took the stick, told him to stay, I put it a few steps ahead and told him to go find it.. He did and when I got it back he got a piece of meatball, Fair trade.

Then I did like that in the crass a few times, on different places and distances, and he found it every time. So I started to hide it in the bushes, and he found it there too, so we moved overt to the long grass, and I started to go further and do more elaborate hidings (drop it halfway to where I pretend to hide it)... And he figured them all out.

So I kept the sticks and will try to do the same tomorrow ...

Sunset

Treated the dog to a walk in the forest before my linedance class. He's being frustrating but still a good dog. He's intent on sniffing absolutely everything. .

She's a cat who really enjoys life and attention. Fajsty has to step back a little, he doesn't like it but he doesn't complain about it either. Good dog. Good cat. I think she likes it here.

Have been running in the forest and am doing some mental and balance things to calm him down, it sort of worked. This evening i will make a schedule of what i need and want to get done day by day next week and for the upcoming weeks. Will post it to my own blog when done.
